This Hotpoint gas hob has a black glass surface and five gas burners, including two semi fast burners. It is 75cm wide and 51cm deep. The glass top gives a clean, sleek look and is easy to wipe down. The controls sit on the front of the hob, so you can reach them comfortably.

It uses Hotpoint's Direct Flame technology. The flame is delivered vertically through 420 tiny holes, so the heat goes up into the pan instead of out around the sides. The aim is even cooking, shorter cooking times and less wasted energy. Flame control gives you 9 flame levels, from gentle melting up to a full boil.

Elongated cast iron pan supports give your pans a sturdy base and stand up well to heat. A flame failure device cuts off the gas supply automatically if a flame goes out, for extra peace of mind.
