This freestanding Hotpoint washing machine is a front loader with a generous 10kg capacity and a maximum spin speed of 1400rpm. It has an A energy rating and goes a further 30% beyond the minimum needed for that class when the Eco 40-60 cycle is used. That makes it a practical choice for a busy household with plenty of laundry.

Fabric Care technology uses a unique drum design to spread detergent evenly and reduce friction, so your clothes are treated gently and last longer. ColourCare washes at lower temperatures to help keep colours vibrant. Anti Stain tackles 24 common stains, from coffee and ketchup to grass and make-up, using higher heat, extra drum movements and longer rinses. PetHairCare adds a prewash and an extra rinse to help remove pet hair from your fabrics.

For everyday convenience, the HomeWhiz app lets you start a cycle, adjust the settings and check progress from your phone. SteamCare freshens clothes that don't need a full wash in just 17 minutes, which helps reduce creases and ironing time. When you are short on time, the Full Load 45' programme washes a full load in 45 minutes. Stop&Add lets you add forgotten items once a cycle has started. The machine measures 60cm wide, 58cm deep and 84.9cm high, with a black door screen.
