This Hotpoint freestanding washing machine is a front loader with a 9kg capacity and a maximum spin speed of 1400rpm. It is designed for busy households and carries an A-30% energy rating, which Hotpoint says uses 30% less energy than the minimum needed to qualify as an A-rated model, based on the Eco 40-60 cycle.

Fabric Care technology is designed to be twice as gentle on laundry, using a drum design that spreads detergent evenly and reduces friction to limit fabric wear. ColourCare washes at lower temperatures to help keep colours looking vibrant for longer. For everyday needs there is an Anti Stain option for 24 common stains, a PetHairCare option that adds a prewash and extra rinse, and SteamCare to freshen clothes that are not ready for a full wash.

The HomeWhiz app lets you start a cycle, adjust settings and check progress from your phone. A Full Load 45' programme washes a full load in 45 minutes, and Stop&Add and a child lock add convenience. The quiet inverter motor has a 25-year lifetime certification from TÜV Rheinland.
