This freestanding 50cm gas double cooker from Hotpoint has a stainless steel finish and a timeless look that suits most kitchens. The main oven is a static gas oven with 59 litres of usable space and five shelf levels. A light inside lets you check on your food without opening the door. Above it sits a smaller 29 litre top oven with a grill, which is handy when you want to cook more than one dish at once.

The gas hob has four burners with enamel pan supports that keep pans stable. Auto Ignition lights the burners at the push of a button. The glass lid protects the hob from splashes and, when closed, gives you some extra worktop space. Catalytic liners in the main oven catch grease and fat splashes and burn them off as you cook, so cleaning is a simple wipe. Controls are mechanical single knobs.

The cooker has an A+ energy rating. It is supplied set up for natural gas, and a conversion kit for LPG is included. It measures 50cm wide, 60cm deep and 90cm high.
