This Hotpoint gas hob has a black glass surface and sturdy cast iron pan supports that keep your pans stable while you cook. It has five gas burners, made up of fast, semi-fast and standard burners, so there is a suitable size for most pans and dishes.

The triple crown wok burner spreads heat evenly around the pan, which suits stir fries and other quick, high-heat cooking. With 9 flame levels you can choose anything from a gentle heat for melting butter to a strong flame for boiling pasta or frying a steak. The dials are on the front of the hob, so the settings are easy to reach.

Each burner has automatic one-hand ignition and a Flame Failure Device, which stops the gas supply if the flame goes out. A conversion kit is included for use with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) if natural gas is not available.
