This Hotpoint slimline dishwasher is just 45cm wide, so it suits kitchens where space is tight. It is freestanding and holds 10 place settings, which means you can skip washing up by hand without needing a full-sized machine. It measures 85cm high and 59cm deep.

Loading is flexible. The upper basket is adjustable and the Flexiload feature lets you stand pans upright in the lower basket to free up room. This makes space for taller items such as wine glasses and mixing bowls. There is also a cutlery basket. There are five programmes, including Eco, Intensive for heavily soiled pans and saucepans, Soak, and a Rapid Wash that cleans a small load of lightly soiled dishes in 30 minutes. You can also run a half load, and a delay timer lets you set the start for later.

The dishwasher has an A rating for both cleaning and drying performance and an E energy rating, with a noise level of 49 dB. It has a tablet function for multi-use detergent tabs, and rinse aid and salt indicator lights. It can be connected to a hot water supply of up to 60°C. A passive overflow protection system helps guard against leaks in the tub.

Overflow
Passive water protection system which detects leakages in the tub and prevents flooding in the house. In case of rupture of the tub, the water leaks into the lower compartment of the machine where the floating device triggers the fault alarm. Drain pump is activated and the tub is emptied.
