This freestanding 50/50 fridge freezer from Hotpoint comes in a silver finish and has a total capacity of around 270 litres, split between the fridge and the freezer. It is 54cm wide and 182.4cm tall, so it suits kitchens where space is limited. Chilled water is available from the built-in dispenser at the touch of a button. The dispenser is non-plumbed, so it needs no connection to the water supply.

No Frost technology keeps air circulating so ice and moisture don't build up, which means you never have to defrost. Dual No Frost uses two independent evaporators, one each for the fridge and the freezer. Inside the fridge, the Fresh Zone drawer holds the right temperature for salad and vegetables. There are adjustable shelves and adjustable door storage for taller items, and LED lighting lights up the interior. The door can be reversed to suit your room.

The freezer has four drawers and a 4-star freezing capacity of 4.6kg. If there is a power cut, food stays safe for up to 14 hours. FreezerProtect allows the appliance to be used in a garage or outbuilding, where it can operate in temperatures as low as -15°C. It has an energy rating of E and uses 246 kWh a year.
