This freestanding Hotpoint fridge freezer has a 50/50 split and a classic white finish. It offers 270 litres of space, which Hotpoint says is enough for around 15 shopping bags. It measures 54cm wide and 182.4cm high, so it suits a standard kitchen space. The reversible door lets you choose the side it opens from.

Dual No Frost uses two independent evaporators to circulate air around both the fridge and the freezer. This stops ice and moisture building up, so neither compartment ever needs defrosting. The fridge has a Fresh Zone drawer for salad and vegetables, adjustable shelves, and adjustable door storage for taller or smaller items. Bright LED lighting lights up the inside.

A non-plumbed water dispenser on the front gives you chilled water at the touch of a button. A temperature alarm tells you if the temperature changes unexpectedly while the door is closed. FreezerProtect allows use in a garage or outbuilding, in temperatures as low as -15°C. The appliance is rated energy class E and uses 246 kWh a year. Food stays frozen for up to 14 hours in a power cut.
