The Hotpoint HR724BH is a built-in electric ceramic hob with a black glass finish. It is 77cm wide, 51cm deep and 4.6cm high, and has four cooking zones, including dual-zone elements that give you more flexibility when cooking for a larger family.

The touch controls sit at the front of the hob, so they are easy to reach and simple to use with a fingertip. Each zone has 9 power levels, so you can choose the right heat for anything from gentle simmering to faster cooking. A timer helps you avoid under or over-cooking your food.

For safety, residual heat indicators stay lit until the surface has cooled enough to touch, even after the controls have been switched off. A child lock also stops little hands from changing the settings.
