This built-in microwave and grill from Hotpoint offers more than simple reheating. It has 900W of microwave power, a 1000W Quartz grill and a 25 litre capacity, all in a stainless steel finish. Seven power levels and electronic controls with an LCD display make it easy to choose the right setting for each dish.

Automatic recipes set the time and temperature for you. Pick a recipe, enter the weight and the microwave does the rest. Rapid Defrost handles frozen food, and there are special functions for melting, softening, rising dough, keeping food warm and making yoghurt. A beverage setting warms one or two cups quickly. The Quartz grill pre-heats instantly, which suits browning and crisping dishes such as pizza or lasagne.

The microwave has a 284mm turntable that can be stopped, an electronic timer and a clock. A child lock prevents the controls being changed by little hands. It measures 39cm high, 59.4cm wide and 37.9cm deep, and comes with a fitted UK plug.
