This Hotpoint induction hob has a black glass-ceramic surface with four induction cooking zones. It is electric and has front-mounted touch controls, so the settings stay easy to reach while you cook. It is 59cm wide and 51cm deep.

My Menu gives you four automatic functions: Boiling, Melting, Keep Warm and Slow Cooking. Boost Power brings water to the boil quickly, and the timer helps you avoid under or over-cooking. The Assisted Display with slider guides you through cooking step by step.

For safety, residual heat indicators show when the hob surface is still hot after the controls have been turned off, and there is a child lock. Power Management lets you set the maximum power the hob draws, choosing from four levels.
