This freestanding Indesit washing machine has a white finish and an 8kg capacity, which suits everyday family loads. It is a front loader with a digital display and a maximum spin speed of 1400rpm on the Eco 40-60 programme. It stands 84.7cm high, 60cm wide and 52cm deep.

Steam features help you look after your clothes. The Push&Go with Steam cycle washes and softens in around an hour and is designed to leave fewer creases, which can cut ironing time. The Cotton + Steam cycle treats cotton garments with steam in the final phase to relax the fibres. There are also two rapid cycles, with small loads washed in 20 minutes and full loads in 45 minutes, for when you are short of time. A duvet programme is included too.

The machine has an A energy rating. On the Eco 40-60 programme it uses 47 litres of water per cycle and weighted energy consumption is 42kWh per 100 cycles. The Inverter Motor aims to improve cleaning results and keep vibration and noise down, while Water Balance Plus adjusts the water used to suit each cycle. A Delay option lets you set the wash to finish at a time that suits you. Keylock prevents the controls being changed by accident, which is handy in a house with small children.
