This freestanding Indesit front-loading washing machine has a 10kg drum, which makes it a practical choice for larger households and bigger weekly loads. It spins at up to 1400rpm and has an A energy rating, and its Big Digit display keeps the settings easy to read.

Push&Go with Steam finishes the wash with a burst of steam to relax the fibres and reduce creases, so there is less ironing to do. There are also dedicated Cotton + Steam and Shirts + Steam cycles. For busy days, the rapid cycles can wash small loads in around 20 minutes or full loads in about 45 minutes. Fast Mode shortens selected washes, and Express 14 cleans a few items in just 14 minutes. A Wool Care programme looks after woollens gently.

An Inverter Motor helps to improve washing results while keeping vibration and noise down, and Water Balance Plus adjusts the water to suit each cycle. The Delay option lets you schedule a wash for a time that suits you, and Keylock stops the settings being changed by accident. The machine measures 84.9cm high, 60cm wide and 58cm deep.
