This freestanding Indesit washing machine has an 8kg drum and a front-loading door, with a 1400 rpm maximum spin speed. It is finished in silver and has a Big Digit display. It is rated A for energy efficiency and uses an Inverter Motor, which is designed to keep vibrations down and to help the machine run more quietly, including during the spin.

Push&Go with Steam finishes the cycle with a burst of steam. This helps to relax the fibres, reduce creases and soften fabrics in around an hour. Cotton + Steam and Shirts + Steam cycles use steam in the final phase in the same way. If you are short on time, the rapid cycles can wash a small load in 20 minutes or a full load in 45 minutes. Fast Mode shortens wash times, and the Express 14 cycle handles a small load in just 14 minutes.

Wool Care is a gentle programme that helps protect the softness of woollens. Water Balance Plus adjusts the amount of water to suit each cycle to limit waste. The Delay option lets you set a wash to finish when it suits you, and Keylock stops the controls being changed by accident. The machine measures 84.9cm high, 60cm wide and 54.6cm deep, and has adjustable front feet.
