This freestanding Indesit front-loading washing machine has a 9kg drum and a 1400rpm maximum spin speed, making it a practical choice for busy family laundry. It comes in a silver finish and has a Big Digit display that makes the settings easy to read.

Push&Go with Steam adds a steam phase at the end of the cycle to help relax fibres and reduce creases, so clothes come out fresher and are quicker to iron. There are also dedicated Cotton + Steam and Shirts + Steam programmes. If you are short of time, the rapid cycles and Fast Mode shorten wash times, and Express 14 cleans a small load in 14 minutes. A Wool Care programme looks after delicate knitwear.

The Inverter Motor helps with energy efficiency and keeps vibration down, including during the spin. Water Balance Plus adjusts the amount of water to suit each cycle, and the machine has an A energy rating. Delay lets you set a wash to finish when it suits you, and Keylock stops the controls being changed by accident.
