This Indesit integrated fridge freezer has a 50/50 split and a total capacity of 254 litres, made up of 163 litres in the fridge and 91 litres in the freezer. The manufacturer says there is room for up to 14 bags of shopping, which makes unloading after a big shop easier. It is a built-in model, 54cm wide and 177.5cm high, so it suits a fitted kitchen.

No Frost technology stops ice building up in the freezer, so you don't need to defrost it by hand. The fridge has a FreshSpace+ compartment designed to keep fruit and vegetables fresh. The Pick&Go box slides sideways beneath a shelf and can be taken out completely. LED lighting lights up the fridge, and the freezer has four drawers.

The flexible door balconies and adjustable shelves let you make space for taller items, and the door can be hinged on either side to suit your kitchen layout. The fridge freezer is energy class E and uses 239 kWh a year. It runs at 37dB(A), so it stays quiet in the background. Food stays frozen for up to 13 hours if the power fails.
